Dunedin Art Sandals

Dunedin is where the artists in the north county like to set up shop, and there is a gentrified downtown section that is ever expanding into what was once a low income area to the south.
The Pinellas bike trail runs right through the downtown, past a box car shop left over from the old railroad track that the trail replaced.
There is an ice-cream sandwich shop right on the trail. Skaters go up the trail past the driving range and down the causeway over the drawbridge all the  way out to the beach park on well kept sidewalks.

Dunedin also has a nice Fine Arts Center and a little sports center. There is an old converted warehouse where local artists rent studio space and show their work on weekends called the Art Colony.
Favorite restaurants include Casa Tina, gourmet Mexican and Vegetarian cuisine and kitch decorated restaurant called Kelly's for Just About Anything that is a must eat, if you can get a seat.
Dunedin is popular for its street festivals, Arts and Crafts. They even have some ethnic ones, such as for the Chinese Moon Festival, where they invite Chinese community from all over the county. It is a very friendly little city.

Seminole Park Life

Seminole is largely a shopping strip next to Lake Seminole, called the Boulevard, where you can find many authentic businesses, such as Lacey Computer Co., where you can find art, books and Tai-chi as well as computers.
The residential areas are quite and a lot of elderly live here along with a newer generation of family builders.
Our little Seminole Mall is cozy and has cheap but good food. It serves almost like a cafeteria. An upscale Retirement home, Freedom Square abuts the Mall, which also has a reasonably good and cheap deli open to the public.
The movie theatres are seldom crowded--good if you like small theatre sections. We have a peaceful Tides Golf Course by the inter-costal, a lot of very special parks, one in which you can even train your dog in a special yard.
The Seminole lifestyle is quite yet there are  many things to do that are easily missed by those just driving down the Boulevard. It also gets the least wind damage of any part of the county because it is built on an old Indian burial ground.
